Gardening with Confidence -Level 1
This is a theory and activity-based course for beginner-intermediate level domestic gardeners, with further, optional, outdoor practical sessions.
The aim is to demystify the language and practice of all major aspects of gardening, from soil improvement and composting, plant care and pruning through to plant choices and colour palettes.

Choose plants that work well together visually and give interest throughout the seasons
Improve yields on you allotment by using best practice to ensure successful crops
The course involves a very small amount of home study and research in-between lessons, and you are free to use the library reference books and computers to further your studies as you wish.
By the end of this course you will be well-placed to provide solutions to problems, questions and doubts about your garden and plants, and will feel less overwhelmed by all the information and choices that exist.
Courses are held once per week, a total of 4 Sessions of 3 hours each.
