A long-time resident of North London, and a keen gardener since I was a small child, I work from my garden studio for clients based both locally and nationally.

I gained my qualifications in Garden Design and Planting Design at the renowned Capel Manor College in Enfield. My background training in Interior Design, Art and Photography came in very useful during my time at the college, and I was fortunate enough to win two design competitions while studying there.

MGGD Design Philosophy

Good garden design reflects the tastes and needs of the client while taking into account the context of surrounding buildings and landscape.  I work with the client to generate a comprehensive brief and carry out a detailed site survey, using these two factors as the driving force behind the design.

I have particular interest in creating gardens that keep in mind environmental factors such as water usage and wildlife habitats, without allowing this to affect the style and quality of the finished design. I create design solutions for all types and sizes of garden, from an edible garden on an urban balcony to a wildflower meadow in the heart of the country.
